The latest updates on microstructural analyses of metallic Phase Change Materials (m-PCM) were presented by Paola Bassani (CNR-ICMATE) at the 21^st International Microscopy Congress (IMC21), held in Liverpool UK from 31^st August to 4^th September.

Paola presented in her poster the material characterizations, performed with multiple techniques, jointly helded by CNR-ICMATE and Politecnico di Milano. The congress gives M-TES staff the chance to present results on microstructural features and their evolution, upon simulated service conditions. Its understanding is fundamental for foreseeing the performances of the m-PCMs and assess their reliability.
