The progresses of metallic Phase Change Materials (m-PCMs) research at 41^st National AIM (Italian Metallurgy Association) congress were presented on 9-11 September 2026 by M-TES young researchers Francesca Villa (CNR-ICMATE), Silvia Marola (Politecnico di Milano) and Matteo Molteni (Politecnico di Milano).

Our staff gives oral presentation, focusing on different research topics in order to deliver to the audience a comprehensive understanding of the m-PCM behaviour, crucial for the lab-to-industry scaling. In particular, microstructural features were illustrated by Francesca Villa with the presentation, whereas thermal and mechanical characterization methodology and properties were presented by Silvia Marola and Matteo Molteni, respectively. Matteo Molteni also won one of the awards for best oral presentation of young researchers.
