M-TES project was present with some of the involved Italian researchers at the biennial event of the Italian Association of Metallurgy, this year held in Naples from 11^th to 13^th September 2024..

During the congress, the unmissable appointment for Italian metallurgists, two presentations, were related to the materials under development in the M-TES project. In the session related to physical metallurgy Paola Bassani presented peculiar microstructural features of Al-Sn alloys used as phase change materials. In a session devoted to materials for energy, Elisabetta Gariboldi presented the early experiments and modelling of the thermomechanical behaviour of these materials.

The presentations on these innovative features were welcome by the attendees and offered opportunities and to present project targets to academics, but also to industrial researchers and technicians involved in innovation in the metallurgical field.
